About Me

How do I define "me?"  Well, to be honest I'm not entirely sure.  But I'll share my resumé with you. First, let me give you the informal introduction to 'Katlin.'  I've been riding horses all my life - literally. My dad bought me my first horse when I was 18 months old. I grew up in Eastern Oregon, but I love to travel; I've been to France, Switzerland, Germany, England, Canada, Australia and more. Growing up I was involved with 4-H (horse showing), then later I was a member of the FFA.

After graduating from Utah State University I came back to Oregon where I am working in the family business, managing Wilderness Horse Camp and working at Cornucopia Lodge. In the future my goals are to stay involved with horses, travel abroad, and perhaps pursue a Master's degree.  I would love to become a trail riding clinician here in the Eagle Cap Wilderness, but that's a long ways off.  For now, I'm a constant blogger and horse lover!
